Plant It Anyway: Leading Belonging on a Timeline You Will Not See

I have watched leaders nod along to the case for belonging, agree with every word, and then stall on one quiet calculation. They lean back. They lower their voice. And they say some version of the same sentence: “If we invest in this now, I may not be here in three to five years to see it pay off.”

I understand the fear inside that sentence. I want to answer it honestly.
